Radar is the quiet half of a good Tarkov setup. Player boxes tell you who; radar tells you where on the map — flanker on your extract line, third party collapsing on dorms, Scav wave you never heard.
How people run it
Compact overlay, tuned range for map size, often on a second monitor during stash runs. You lose skeleton detail but keep rotate timing — huge near extracts and contested loot rooms.
Some builds exclude the overlay from OBS capture. That helps streamers; it does not beat manual review when chat watches you pre-aim through walls.
