In Capcom’s Pragmata, survival on the lunar base isn't just about fast reflexes it’s about your Build. Much like the deep, stat driven customization found in Elden Ring, Pragmata allows you to specialize your gear, armor mods, and hacking protocols to suit your specific playstyle.
The Dual Unit System: Why Synergy Matters
In Pragmata, you aren't just playing as Hugh you’re managing the link between a heavy armored astronaut and his companion, Diana. Unlike standard shooters, your guns are intentionally weak against armored lunar threats. To deal real damage, you must master the hacking mechanics of the game using Diana to hack enemy systems while Hugh manages the physical threats.

The Shelter Hub
Between missions, you’ll return to the Shelter, where your build truly comes to life. There are two main terminals you need to master:
- The Firmware Updater: This is where you spend Upgrade Components to raise your core stats.
- The Unit Printer: This terminal uses Lunafilament and the rare Pure Lunum to unlock weapon blueprints and specialized Mods.
Build Types: Discovering Which Build Suits You
Before you step out of the Shelter, you need to decide how you want to handle the distorted reality of the moon. Whether you want to be an unstoppable tank or a high-speed technical specialist, these are the definitive build types you need to dominate the mission.
The Kinetic Striker
- Core Weapon: Riot Blaster
- Essential Mods: Heavy Hitter and Core Stability
- The Playstyle: Use your thrusters to close the gap and unleash heavy blasts that keep enemies in a constant state of "stagger," allowing Diana to finish them off with ease.
The Synaptic Ghost
- Core Weapon: Pulse Carbine
- Essential Mods: Synaptic Response and Quick-Charge
- The Playstyle: You aren't meant to take hits. By timing your dodges, you trigger Perfect Hacks that slow down time, letting you pick apart enemy weak points before they can even rotate their sensors.
The Technomancer
- Core Focus: Hacking Matrix Nodes & Multi-Hack Protocols.
- Essential Mods: Hyperfocus and Feedback Loop.
- The Playstyle: While Hugh draws aggro, Diana systematically shuts down enemy shields and turns drones against one another. It’s the most tactical way to play, turning every encounter into a puzzle you’ve already solved.
The Juggernaut
- Core Focus: Shield Capacity and Repair Efficiency.
- Essential Mods: Reinforced Plating and Nano-Repair
- The Playstyle: You become a literal wall. This build is ideal for boss encounters where avoiding damage is nearly impossible. You outlast the enemy through pure attrition.
Enhancing Your Build with Zadeyo
Even the best builds require a massive amount of Pure Lunum and Upgrade Components to reach their full potential. Just like farming runes in the Lands Between, the lunar grind can be grueling but it doesn't have to be.
